The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.
This warrior group features the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
First, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The traitor then paid off his debts and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, north of the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants revenge.
- Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their position as important members in the influential clan could enable the group enter areas they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:
- The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and The healer turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.
This means them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Based on the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to form the Seekers and Planners tables.
